Gur Khubani Ka Halwa
Ingredients:
1/2 kg seedless apricot (soaked overnight)
100 gm pure ghee
100 gm mawa
200 gm jaggery
50 gm pistachio slice
50 gm almond slice
4 gm cardamom powder
2 gm ittar (flower essence)
Instructions:
1. Take some soft seedless apricots (soaked overnight).
2. Drain water as much as possible.
3. Put the saucepan on low flame and add ghee in it.
4. After 2-3 mins add apricots and stir well on medium flame. Cook for 15 mins until the apricots are cooked properly.
5. Add grated jaggery and mawa and stir well for 5 mins at least. Keep the flame low and start adding pistachio, almond, cardamom powder, and ittr.
6. Stir well for a minute only and switch off the flame.
7. Garnish the halwa with silver leaf.
8. Serve hot
