Sattu Laddu
Ingredients
3/4 cup Jaggery
1½ cups sattu flour
1/2 cup desi ghee,
8 cardamom pods
2 tbsp almonds, chopped
Method
First, grind the jaggery to a powder and seed and crush the cardamom into a powder. Keep these aside.
Lightly roast the almonds on a low flame in one tablespoon of ghee and keep them aside.
In the same pan, heat rest of the ghee, add the sattu flour and roast it on low flame, stirring continuously for about 5 minutes, and turn off the heat. Take care not to over roast it.
Transfer the roasted flour to a large bowl. Add the jaggery powder, cardamom powder and roasted almonds. Mix well.
Roll the mixture into small laddus as per the desired size. Make sure you roll it as tightly as possible. Then allow it to cool completely.
Your laddoos are ready, enjoy!
