Chewy Nutella Brownies
Ingredients
butter (to grease the pan)
all purpose flour (to flour the pan)
1/2 cup all purpose flour (for dough)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup roasted hazelnuts
2 large eggs
1 cup Nutella
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup salted butter (melted)
Directions
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Butter an 8-inch square pan and then dust with flour, tapping out excess. Set pan aside.
Combine flour and salt in a small bowl. Coarsely chop hazelnuts.
Lightly beat eggs with a fork in a large bowl until yolks and whites are combined.
Add Nutella, brown sugar, and vanilla and stir vigorously with a flexible spatula until well-combined.
Add melted butter and mix until well-combined. Add flour mixture and stir until blended. Stir in hazelnuts.
Scrape batter into prepared pan.
Bake brownies on middle rack of oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached (not completely clean), 45 minutes.
Check to see that brownies are done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
Set brownies on a cooling rack and cool completely in the pan, about 2 hours.
Cut brownies into 16 squares. Serve and enjoy!
